Opened in 2008 as the five-star Cape Royale Luxury Hotel, with the Equinox Spa and a rooftop entertainment area; the building has been fully residential since January 2019. The sectional-title scheme was registered in 2008. Among 32 Green Point buildings with at least five sales since 2023, Cape Royale ranks above the neighbourhood median by price per m² (number 11). The highest price registered here since 2023 was R9.00m, for a unit of 152 m², in Apr 2026. Flats sold here since 2023 are mostly two- and three-bedroom sizes: a median of 115 m², from 59 m² to 156 m².
